host "SysAdmin 101," an informative Unix seminar geared toward intermediate and advanced
users as well as beginning system administrators. The seminar, being held on October 3,
2004, is the first in a series to come that are designed to promote continued education
in the business and technology field.
Dave Taylor, prolific author, teacher, and speaker with 25 years of experience in the Unix community, will lead the comprehensive seminar, which will be packed with useful information for both intermediate and advanced Unix users even if they are not system administrators. "SysAdmin 101" will focus on teaching participants advanced command line interaction, shell scripting power techniques, and the core concepts underlying system administration, of a Unix or Linux system.
