FindJeanine.com Hits the Mark at Quarter Million

Fremont, California - August 28, 2001 - Hurricane Electric, a leading Technical Service Provider, announced yesterday that www.findjeanine.com, a website dedicated to finding a missing Los Gatos woman, has served up more than a quarter million hits since it went live on August 3.

Shortly after Jeanine Harms', 42, disappearance on July 27, friends and family members set up the website to increase the exposure of the case and to keep the public informed of new leads, contributions and rewards for information.

Hurricane Electric is pleased to donate space to the www.findjeanine.com website in hopes that Harms family members and friends will have an answer to this tragic event soon.

After the website was redesigned on August 23, Hurricane Electric saw a 28 percent spike in the amount of traffic to the site, reaching the quarter million mark on August 26.

"We are happy that the site is receiving so many hits," said Mike Leber, president of Hurricane Electric. "One person out there viewing the website will hopefully have the information that so many people are looking for."

Several events in the continuing search for Harms have been publicized through the website. The website also allows the public to send messages to Harms' family and to donate contributions to the Jeanine Sanchez-Harms Reward Fund. So far, Harms' family is offering $10,000 for information leading to the return of Harms

On the website, family members have posted pictures of Harms and family video footage, along with a video excerpt from America's Most Wanted television program, which details Harms' disappearance.

Along with a link to contact the police about Harms' case, the website also links to major news sources that have run Harms' story in hopes that someone will come forward with new information.


Harms Disappearance

On Friday, July 27, Jeanine Harms was last seen by friends leaving the Rock Bottom Brewery in the Pruneyard Shopping Center in Campbell, CA with a male friend.

Maurice Xavier Nasmeh was identified and questioned by Los Gatos police, but is not a suspect. He told police that he followed Harms to her house around 10 p.m. and left at approximately 1 a.m.

Coworkers at Amdahl Corp. contacted police on Monday to file a missing person's report after Harm's failed to show up for work, police said. The Los Gatos police Dept. searched Harms' home and believed that she had become a victim of foul play.

Family and friends have searched the local areas for Harms to no avail.
